Exam Policy
Promotion Requirements
Following requirements must be fulfiled before promotion may be granted:
- A Students must have put in at least 80% attendance sufficient reasons should exist to the satisfaction of the Principal, If the attendance is less than 80%.
- Promotion will be decided not only on the basis of the performance of the student in the final examination, but also on the whole year's performance of the sutdent
- The decision of the school authorities regarding promotion will be final.
- Pass Mark Each Subject : 35% & Aggregate 35%
- Promotion will not be granted:
- It the students fails in two main subjects.
- If he/she fails in one main subjects and two subsidiary subjects.
- If he/she has an aggregate of less than 35%
- Absence in the examinations can be excused at the discretion of the Principal only once in a year provided :
- The student maintaining a good record in studeies.
- The student has a genuine reason for the absence i.e.illness.
Note : Main subjects include English, Vernacular and Mathematics. Subsidiary includes all other subjects.
